Recording

 

Whether it is a live concert recital or recording sessions for the purpose of a commercial CD release, we can capture the depth, tonality and dynamic range of a performance.

We have recorded in venues as diverse as the world renowned Wigmore Hall in London and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane to less controlled environments such as a remote village in India to a Castro on a Greek island.

Our recording clients also get the benefit of having their material professionally mastered at our dedicated editing and mastering suite. Here we edit the recorded material and create a master for duplication (if required). Please see the mastering section of our website for more details.

 

Equipment

We use Schoeps, Coles and Neumann microphones, Rupert Neve designed pre amplifiers, PMC and Sennheiser monitoring and industry standard Pro Tools software. As well as our main rig we also run a mobile facility and are able to travel anywhere within Europe at short notice.

We are also one of the few companies that can record and archive material in the DSD format. This digital format is currently used for the production of SACD and is widely tipped to supersede the current PCM format (used for CDs). All our recordings can be simultaneously recorded to both PCM and DSD to cater for any future delivery formats.
